You won't see me writing my resignation letter - NACP Head Korchak
Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) Natalia Korchak believes her resigning would be a sign of weakness on her part, and stresses she has obligations to the NACP.
"You won't see me writing my resignation letter. I've made a commitment, I have organized [work in] the area of preventing political corruption and I will be able to defend the right of the National Agency among other anti-corruption structures," Korchak said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
At the same time, she stressed: "If someone gives in to emotions, then a question arises: is this a strength or a weakness? I believe this is weakness."
Korchak noted that the recommendation for her to resign as NACP head "is caused by a completely subjective assessment of her work. Why should I be liked by everyone? I'm an official," she added.
