Groysman on resignations of Kutoviy, Stets: I am not for it, but must accept this
Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman is not "for" the decision of Ukrainian Agriculture Policy and Food Minister Taras Kutoviy's and Information Policy Minister Yuriy Stets' decision to step down, but is obliged to accept the resignations.
"I see a lot of speculation about who compelled whom to resign. I can say the following: the position of Kutoviy and Stets is their own. I don't agree with it, but am compelled to oblige, because it is their decision," Groysman said during a trip to Chernihiv on Thursday.
Groysman said the next step [involving the resignations] "is up to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," which must vote on the resignations. The [majority] coalition must then discuss possible replacements and submit them to the head of government.
