U.S. embassy in Kyiv says it doesn't see overnight explosion as terrorist act

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine does not consider the explosion that occurred over the night into Thursday in the territory of the diplomatic mission, a terrorist act.

"At present, we do not consider this incident a terrorist act. The embassy closely cooperates with our partners from local law enforcement agencies in the investigation of this incident," the embassy said in a statement posted on Facebook.
