Kyiv reports eight servicemen wounded in Donbas

Eight Ukrainian servicemen have been wounded in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in Donbas in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Andriy Lysenko said.

"No one has died, but eight soldiers were wounded during the day," Lysenko said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.

Attacks on Ukrainian army positions have intensified, especially in the Luhansk sector, he said, adding that 32 shelling incidents, including 21 with use of heavy weapons, were observed there.
