The Senate (Upper House) of the Canadian Parliament has voted for establishing a free trade area with Ukraine, Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada Andriy Shevchenko wrote on Twitter.
"The Senate has just voted for the ratification of the Free Trade Agreement with Ukraine!", the tweet says.
He stressed that they now need only the signature of the governor general of Canada remains to complete the ratification.
