Law enforcers seizing documents at NBU in corruption investigation of bank officials 2015-2016

As of 16:00 of Wednesday, law enforcers are conducting investigative actions at the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), during which the documents are being seized, the press service of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has said.

"Investigative actions are being carried out within the framework of the investigation of criminal proceedings on the abuse of NBU officials of their official position in the interests of third parties who, in prior agreement with officials of a number of commercial banks, in violation of the law "On Banks and Banking" committed actions that entailed grave consequences to the state interests. It's about the period of 2015-2016," a message of the press service of the NABU says, published on the Bureau's website on Wednesday.
