Man killed in Kyiv centre is former State Duma deputy Voronenkov
Former deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Denis Voronenkov has been killed in the center of Kyiv, Kyiv police chief Andriy Kryschenko has said.
Kryschenko said in the air of the 112.Ukraine TV channel that the identity of the person murdered an hour ago in the center of the capital had been established and he turned out to be a former deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, but he refused to provide his first and last name. Later, answering the clarifying question of a presenter whether it was Denis Voronenko, the law enforcer said yes.
