Some 2,629 Ukrainian military killed, 9,400 wounded since ATO start
Some 2,629 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed, more than 9,400 wounded since the beginning of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, Andriy Lysenko, the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry on ATO issues, has said.
"The total combat losses of our military in this war are 2,629 people. Some 2,220 of them are servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the rest are representatives of the National Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service (SBU), the State Border Guard Service, the State Emergency Service," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
