Rada approves creation of unified register of draft-age persons in Ukraine
Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada has supported the creation of the unified register of draft-age persons
An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported that bill No. 2504a-d on the unified register of draft-age persons was backed at second reading by 236 lawmakers at the Thursday session.
The bill regulates relations in the sphere of the registration of citizen reservists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military units for the special period and the works to protect the state.
The register will be kept in the electronic form with the unified centralized database containing personal and civil data of all reservists.
The Defense Ministry will approve the rules for keeping the register.
The bill also describes the powers of the General Staff of the Armed Forces in the area.
