Klimkin, Polish Sejm Marshal discuss dialogue between respective parliaments
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin in Warsaw has discussed the interparliamentary cooperation of the two countries with the Marshal of the Polish Senate Stanisław Karczewski.
Klimkin expressed gratitude to the head of the Senate of Poland for consistent support of Ukraine. The sides positively noted the friendly and good-neighborliness of the dialogue between the parliaments of the two countries, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported on Wednesday.
"The next important event in the interparliamentary cooperation will be the visit of the Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy to Warsaw to attend the meeting of the trilateral Interparliamentary Assembly Ukraine-Poland-Lithuania on March 27-28," a message reads.
The sides also exchanged views on new ideas and initiatives at the parliamentary level that will further strengthen the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Poland.
