Ukraine's rock band O.Torvald to perform 22nd during Eurovision Grand Final
The Ukrainian rock band O.Torvald, Ukraine's contestant in the Eurovision song contest in 2017, will perform as No. 22 in the Grand Final in Kyiv in May.
The running order was determined amid a short draw after a meeting of the heads of delegation from the participating countries in Kyiv.
O.Torvald received 10 points – 5 from TV viewers and 5 from judges – during the national selection finals.
It was founded in Poltava in 2005. In 2006 the performers moved to Kyiv. The band has already released six albums.
Participants from 26 countries will perform in the Grand Final: 10 from each semifinal, representatives of the Big Five (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Britain) and this year's host country, Ukraine.
The Eurovision 2017 semifinals will take place on May 9 and May 11, and the Grand Final is scheduled for May 13.
