NABU investigating 272 criminal cases with total loss of over UAH 83 bln
Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) are investigating into 272 criminal cases (as of February 28, 2017), the press service of NABU has reported.
"As of February 28, NABU detective are involved in pretrial investigation into 272 criminal cases. The total sum of a loss caused in corruption crimes under investigation by the bureau is over UAH 83 billion," the bureau said.
The press service said that 52 bills of indictment against 79 people were sent to court.
Since the start of the investigations (December 4, 2015) NABU notified 169 persons that they are suspected of committing crimes.
