Poroshenko speaks for adoption of law on increase of Ukrainian language quota on television
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that he will soon make a proposal to introduce a legislative increase of Ukrainian-language content on television.
"Soon, I will propose the same technology [similar to the law on increasing the quota of the Ukrainian language on radio] in relation to television, where the presence of the Ukrainian language is very small now," Poroshenko said during Taras Shevchenko National Award ceremony on Thursday morning.
