U.S. positively assesses meeting of Tillerson and Klimkin, confirms sanctions against Russia will be extended
The U.S. Department of State has positively assessed the meeting of U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, called on all the parties to implement the Minsk agreements and confirmed the sanctions against Russia will continue.
During the meeting the parties discussed internal issues, as well as the U.S.' continuing concern regarding compliance with the Minsk agreements.
U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson confirmed the U.S.' serious commitment to relations with Ukraine.
