Court grants UAH 6.4 mln bail for ex-head of public affairs department Tarasiuk
Kyiv's Pechersky District court has granted a UAH 6.4 million bail for former head of the department of public affairs Ihor Tarasiuk, the press secretary of the prosecutor general of Ukraine, Larysa Sarhan, has said.
"Kyiv's Pechersky District court grants the UAH 6.4 million bail for former head of the department of public affairs Ihor Tarasiuk. Judge Tetiana Ostapchuk announced the decision," Sarhan wrote on her Facebook page.
She said that Tarasiuk wears an electronic ankle bracelet. He gave his passports for travelling abroad to law enforcers. He is to inform the Prosecutor General's Office if he changes place of residence.
The court decision will be in effect until May 1, 2017.
