Akhmetov's humanitarian staff reports blocking of its work in Donetsk
Armed people have blocked the distribution center at the Donbas Arena in Donetsk and dispensing offices of Rinat Akhmetov's humanitarian staff in the Donbas territory uncontrolled by Kyiv.
A report published on the official website of the Akhmetov humanitarian staff on Tuesday said the staff did not have reliable information as to the cause of those actions. "The premises, the equipment, and the entire humanitarian supplies of the staff have been blocked, and staff volunteers have no access to them," the report said.
More than 500,000 senior citizens, persons with disabilities and young mothers will be unable to receive their 'survival packages', it said.
"The humanitarian staff will be ready to resume operation as soon as the distribution center and the dispensing offices are unblocked," it said.
