Poroshenko appoints ambassador to Thailand Beshta as Laos ambassador concurrently
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Thailand Andriy Beshta as Ukrainian Ambassador to Laos concurrently.
As reported on the official website of the president, the president signed corresponding decree No. 38/2017 on Monday.
Beshta, born in 1976, has been working in the structure of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry since 1998. He was in office of a deputy director - head of the department, and later Acting Director of the Department of International Organizations of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also worked at the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations. Beshta was a member of the Ukrainian delegation in 67-70 sessions of the UN General Assembly.
He was appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Thailand on November 24, 2015.
Earlier, an office of the Ukraine's ambassador to Laos was concurrently performed by Ukrainian Ambassador to Thailand Markiyan Chuchuk who was dismissed by the decree of Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov in March 2014.
