British PM counts on France's support in putting pressure on Russia because of situation in Donbas
British Prime Minister Theresa May expects to enlist the support of French Prime Minister Bernard Kazeneuve regarding the pressure on Russia in connection with the situation in Donbas, Le Figaro reports.
According to Le Figaro, May has no doubt in developing a common position with France on the need to continue the political pressure on the Russian Federation for the situation in the east of Ukraine.
In addition, May noted that the United Kingdom will continue cooperating with France in the UN on the settlement of the Syrian conflict. May recalled that France and Britain are preparing a draft of the UN Security Council resolution on the use of chemical weapons in Syria.
Earlier May urged the West to interact with Russia from a position of strength.
