Poroshenko enacts NSDC's decision on urgent measures to neutralize threats of Ukraine's energy security

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko by his decree has enacted a decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) dated February 16, 2017 "On urgent measures to neutralize threats to energy security of Ukraine and strengthening of critical infrastructure protection."

The text of corresponding decree No. 37/2017 was published on the website of the Ukrainian president on Thursday night.

According to the text of the decree, monitor the implementation of enacted NSDC decision rests with the National Security and Defense Council Secretary Alexander Turchynov.

Poroshenko put the NSDC secretary Oleksandr Turchynov in charge of supervising the implementation of the NSDC's decision enacted by the decree.

The decree shall come into force from the date of its publication.
