Normandy format ministerial meeting may take place at G20 on Feb 17 – Klimkin
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is considering different options of the meeting in Normandy format, including on the sidelines of the G20 summit on February 17.
"We are holding consultations now with the German and French friends regarding the arrangement of a meeting. Maybe, it will be a meeting at the level of foreign ministers. Now several options are being considered. One of them is a meeting on the sidelines of the G20 on February 17," Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said in Kyiv on Thursday.
Klimkin also said that he would speak to German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel within the next few hours.
"And we will then formally decide [on the meeting date]. We are working on the meeting, but what counts most is the result," he said.
