Mogherini says about EU commitment to continue work with all partners to achieve peace in Ukraine
Head of the EU diplomacy Federica Mogherini said on Monday that the EU will continue striving to achieve a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, including its work in the Normandy format.
According to her, the EU will reaffirm its position and will work with all partners, including the Normandy format [...] to find a solution to the conflict, she said on the eve of the EU Council on Foreign Affairs in Brussels.
She said that clarity that exists in the EU is that the EU will not recognize illegal annexation of Crimea, and that the EU needs to complete the implementation of the Minsk agreements, taking into account the fact that the achievement of peace in Ukraine is the most important thing.
