Saakashvili to seek early Rada elections in coordination with Ukrainian parties
The former head of state administration of the Odesa region in Ukraine and Georgia's ex-president, Mikheil Saakashvili, met with the leaders of the Samopomich, Democratic Alliance and Civil Position parties to coordinate steps aimed at ensuring an early election to the Verkhovna Rada.
"We began a series of meetings with political leaders with a view to creating a broad front in support of early Verkhovna Rada elections and of a new election law. Today in Lviv my friends, the leaders of Samopomich and DemAlliance, and I were discussing our coordination," Saakashvili wrote on his Facebook page.
He said that he also spoke to Anatoliy Hrytsenko (the leader of Civil Position): "We will be meeting with him and other patriotic democratic forces in the next round."
