Hug to visit Donbas on Jan 18-27 to familiarize with security situation along contact line
Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine Alexander Hug is to visit eastern Ukraine from January 18 until January 27, 2017.
Hug plans to assess the security situation along the contact line in Donbas and its impact on the lives of the civilian population, the press service OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine said.
In addition, the first deputy head of the OSCE SMM intends to assess the progress of the repair works on critical infrastructures, as well as to urge all parties concerned to contribute to peace and normalization of the situation.
