The representative of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) for the settlement of the situation in Donbas region, the second President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma has left for Minsk (Belarus) for the TCG meeting, his spokeswoman Darka Olifer has said.
"Leonid Kuchma has left for Minsk," Olifer told in her comments to Interfax-Ukraine on Monday morning.
This will be the first in this year meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in Donbas. The TCG meeting is preceded by subgroups' meetings. Thus, on January 12, Ukraine's representative in the Trilateral Contact Group's political subgroup Olha Aivazovska said the Trilateral Contact Group's political subgroup would meet on Monday, January 16.
