Poroshenko, Biden coordinate actions to support Ukraine in IMF cooperation program

U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden in the framework of a telephone conversation with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has welcomed the decision of the Ukrainian authorities on the nationalization of PrivatBank, the press service of the Ukrainian president has said.

During the conversation it was noted that the "courageous and necessary" step demonstrates the determination and devotion of Ukraine for further implementation of the necessary reforms.

"Poroshenko and Biden coordinated actions to support Ukraine in the context of the cooperation program with the IMF," the report says.
