EP approves EU suspension mechanism of visa-free regime with third countries
European Parliament at the plenary session on Thursday passed a bill (A8-0235/2016), which provides for the suspension of the visa-free regime of the European Union to the third countries.
Some 485 deputies voted for the corresponding decision, 132 - abstained and 21 MPs were against this decision, according to the information made public by the European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) on Twitter.
Shortly before, on December 14, the European Parliament held debates on this bill.
