Minsk format does not work – Polish ambassador to Ukraine

Minsk negotiation format (Ukraine, the OSCE, the Russian Federation) does not produce results, Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Pieklo has said.

Pieklo said during a press club "Diplomats without ties" in Kyiv on Tuesday that everyone can see that Minsk format doesn't work. Even Germany sees that the Minsk format does not work, he said.

According to him, today Russia has taken a wait-and-see attitude until a new administration of the U.S. president is formed.

The diplomat said that the situation is such that [Russian President Vladimir] Putin is waiting for a new administration in Washington.
