Poroshenko: Brussels finds compromise solution to suspension mechanism of visa waivers
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that a compromise solution has been found in Brussels to suspend visa waivers.
"I have encouraging news from Brussels on the results of my regular contacts with EU leaders. A compromise regarding the suspension mechanism of visa-free travels has been found," he wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday evening.
Poroshenko says that now it is the turn of the Council of the European Union at the ambassadorial level and the European Parliament. "I am closely monitoring the situation," he said.
