Poroshenko holds meeting with security forces about police deaths in Kniazhychi
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has hold a daily briefing with representatives of law enforcement agencies to investigate the tragedy - the death of five police officers in the village of Kniazhychi of Kyiv region at the night of December 4.
Poroshenko expressed his condolences to the families of law enforcement officers and "took the investigation of this tragedy under his personal control," the press service of the Ukrainian state reported in the Sunday evening.
"Nothing can justify the deaths of five police officers. I hope that the truth will be established in a very short period of time. And those who are guilty of issuing orders, which led to such tragic consequences, will be fully brought to justice," the president said.
