Prosecutor General promises to provide indictment on Yanukovych’s treason
Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko has promised to issue without delay an indictment against the former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych on treason upon completion of a number of investigative actions.
"The case of Yanukovych’s treason will be provided soon. We will just carry out several investigative actions that have been reclassified into the indictment. And it will also be handed over in absentia to Yanukovych and his defense lawyers," the prosecutor general told in the program 'The Right for Power' (Pravo na vladu) on "1 +1" TV channel on Thursday night.
