OSCE mission still sees armed people near Stanytsia Luhanska despite disengagement agreements
Armed people remain in the area designated for disengagement of the conflicting parties in the Stanytsia Luhanska area, no disengagement has occurred, OSCE SMM Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug said.
The parties have not completed the disengagement process this week, Hug told a briefing in Kyiv on Friday, adding that two months have passed since the signing of the framework agreement. The mission's observers see armed people and hardware on the section in the Stanytsia Luhanska area every day, he said.
