Right Sector activists block Lukyanivske jail, may disrupt Yanukovych interrogation
About a hundred of the Right Sector movement activists have blocked the exit from Lukyanivske pretrial detention facility in Kyiv, from where former members of Berkut riot police must be taken to attend a meeting in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynsky district court for a hearing involving the murder of Euro-Maidan activists.
As an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reports, ex-President Viktor Yanukovych will be deposed via videoconference link and notified officially of charges against him.
The court hearing, and Yanukovych's interrogation, consequently, may not take place.
As reported, at 13:00 on November 25 Sviatoshynsky district court of Kyiv is scheduled to begin the trial into the case of "killing people during EuroMaidan," during which former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is scheduled to be questioned via videoconference call as a witness.
