Ukrainian experts to arrive in Pakistan to study firearms and munitions production
Ukraine's Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak during the ninth international military production exhibit IDEAS 2016 met with the heads of Pakistani military production enterprises, with which Ukraine cooperates or plans to cooperate.
"We have a large sphere of activities where we can cooperate. We are interested in your experience of launching production of rifle and munitions. Relying on your experience in this area, we can more quickly and without making mistakes create such a production line," said Poltorak during a meeting with the board chairman of Pakistan Ordinance Factories, Mahmood Hayat, according to the website of Ukraine's Defense Ministry. The sides agreed that a group of experts from Ukraine would arrive in Pakistan and begin work in this area.
In addition, Poltorak discussed issues of existing cooperation with the board chairman of large industrial enterprise HIT TAXILA Syed Wajid Hussain.
