Ukrainian Defense Minister, Pakistani PM discuss cooperation in military-industrial sector
Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak during a visit to the International Exhibition of Defense Industry "IDEAS-2016" has held a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
According to the Defense Ministry’s press service, Poltorak pointed at the interest of the Ukrainian side in the further development of partnership relations between Ukraine and Pakistan in the military-industrial sphere. He is convinced that his visit will contribute to the bringing of the bilateral Ukrainian-Pakistani relations to a new level.
In his turn Sharif said that Ukraine is an important partner of Pakistan, particularly in the military-industrial sphere.
According to the Defense Ministry, nearly 90 delegates from different countries and 40 high-ranking officials in the defense sector have arrived to visit the ninth International Defense Industry Exhibition "IDEAS-2016". The exhibition is held in Karachi (Pakistan).
