UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi will visit Ukraine's east this week.
At a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman in Kyiv on Monday, the commissioner said that he will go to the east on Tuesday to see with his own eyes the situation there.
During his five-day visit to Ukraine, Grandi is scheduled to visit Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk and Mayorsk (three cities in Donetsk region), the premier's advisor for communications and public information Nina Sorokopud told reporters.
