EU to introduce visa free regime for Ukrainians simultaneously with migration risk response mechanism – Klimkin
A visa free regime between the European Union and Ukraine will function together with the adoption of the EU’s decision of the mechanism of response to migration risks, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said.
"The European Commission, European Parliament and all member states stand for a visa free regime. The further process is the "technique" of preparation of legislative initiative and mechanism to respond to migration risks ... A visa free regime for Ukraine and Georgia, no talks about the rest so far, will be introduced simultaneously with the approval of the response mechanism on migration risks," he said on Inter TV channel aired on Sunday night.
Klimkin also said that now there is progress in the negotiations on the approval of procedure for responding to the migration risks in the EU.
