Ukraine's Border Service will get equipment for EUR 2 mln from EU to strengthen border with Belarus
The European Union delegation to Ukraine will pass technical equipment and vehicles worth EUR2 million to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine to strengthen the border with Belarus.
According to the press service of the State Border Service, this technical assistance is part of the second phase of the SURCAP international project, which strengthens the potential of the border agencies of Ukraine and Belarus for protection of the common border.
The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The ceremony will take place on Soborna Square in Zhytomyr at 11:00 on November 22.
