Poroshenko questioned for six hours on Euro-Maidan events
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was questioned on November 18 in the investigation into crimes committed in January-February, 2014 against Euro-Maidan activists, presidential press secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko has told Interfax-Ukraine.
"Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko testified on Euro-maidan case. The head of state several times said that he is interested in investigating into the Euro-maidan crimes and punishing criminals," Tseholko told Interfax-Ukraine on Saturday.
An Interfax-Ukraine's source in the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) earlier said that Poroshenko was questioned on November 18 at the Presidential Administration. Earlier it was planned to question Poroshenko on November 29 at the PGO.
