USAID evaluates changes in Ukraine's health sector over past few months
U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has positively evaluated changes in Ukraine's health sector over the past few months.
"A considerable progress has been reached in achieving positive changes in medicine during the last few months," USAID Mission Director to Ukraine Susan Kosinski Fritz said during strategic inter-ministerial forum titled "Reform of Medicine: funding, management, primary health care" in Kyiv on Thursday.
Head of the USAID Mission said that the support and cooperation of the Acting Health Minister of Ukraine Ulana Suprun and Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman are needed to continue the progress. According to her, USAID has invested approximately $300 million in the health sector of Ukraine.
