Ukrainian foreign minister: Kyiv, Moscow have no coordinated vision of Donbas settlement roadmap
Ukraine has not coordinated possible ways of the Donbas conflict settlement with Russia, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said.
"Of course, we are holding consultations with our German and French friends and partners. And of course we have yet to arrive at a common vision of this roadmap, a joint vision of the roadmap, I mean, with Russia," Klimkin told reporters after a government meeting on Wednesday.
Russia objects "to putting emphasis on security issues, which we need to continue the political settlement of this conflict, and to determining modalities of the future elections, which should meet OSCE criteria," the minister said.
"Consultations are underway; there have been proposals regarding November 29 or 30, some date in late November," Klimkin said, answering the media question about a possible date of the foreign ministers' meeting in the 'Normandy Four' format.
He said that a precise date of the meeting had yet to be chosen.
