Poroshenko tells Trump of importance of U.S. support for Ukraine in opposing Russia's aggression
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko underscored in a telephone conversation with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump that Washington's support is important for Kyiv in opposing Russian aggression against Ukraine, the Ukrainian presidential press service reported on Tuesday.
"Petro Poroshenko pointed out that it is important for Ukraine to continue receiving resolute support from Washington in opposing Russian aggression and pursuing the necessary reforms," it said.
