Rada may appeal to EU governments about granting visa free regime for Ukraine
The Verkhovna Rada has registered a draft resolution to address the governments of the European Union member states, European Parliament and the Council of the European Union on the introduction of a visa free regime for citizens of Ukraine (No.5394).
As reported on the official website of the parliament, a draft resolution was registered on November 15 and submitted to the authorities.
Coauthors of the draft resolution are Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, First Vice-Speaker Iryna Gerashchenko, People's Deputies Iryna Lutsenko (Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction), head of the People's Front faction Maksym Burbak, head of the Samopomich faction Oleh Bereziuk, leader of the Batkivschyna faction Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the Radical party Oleh Liashko, chairman of the parliamentary group People’s Will in the Verkhovna Rada Yaroslav Moskalenko.
