OSCE SMM records consequences of shelling incidents in Stanytsia Luhanska, disengagement of forces has not started there
Observers from the Special Monitoring Mission of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE SMM) recorded consequences of shelling incidents in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska, OSCE SMM Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug said.
On November 3, the OSCE SMM observers recorded consequences of hostilities in the area near Stanytsia Luhanska, on the bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska, and the sides have not commenced disengagement of forces and equipment in this area, he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
At the same time, there are no shelling incidents in those areas where forces and equipment have already been withdrawn, he said.
The ceasefire is observed in two out of three areas intended for disengagement, Hug said. The mission did not record any ceasefire violation incidents in areas near Zolote and Petrivske in the past week, he said, noting that the mechanism is working when it is fully implemented.
