President dismisses Saakashvili from post of Odesa Regional State Administration head
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has dismissed Mikheil Saakashvili from the post of the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration.
The corresponding decree No. 500/2016 was signed on Wednesday evening, November 9 and posted on the website of the president.
In addition, Poroshenko, according to the Decree No. 499/2016 dated November 9, 2016 dismissed Mikheil Saakashvili from his post of non-regular advisor to the president of Ukraine.
As reported, on Monday, November 7, Saakashvili said that he was leaving his post because he was tired of constant deception and corruption, including from authorities in Kyiv. On November 9, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers authorized the dismissal of Mikheil Saakashvili from the post of the head of Odesa Regional State Administration.
