Ukraine set to discuss release of prisoners at humanitarian subgroup meeting in Minsk on Nov 8-9
The humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group for Donbas will converge in Minsk on November 8-9 to address the release of prisoners, Kyiv said.
"The release of hostages will be the focal point of the humanitarian subgroup, which will be working in Minsk for two days, on November 8 and 9," Ukrainian representative to the humanitarian subgroup, Verkhovna Rada First Deputy Speaker Iryna Gerashchenko said on Facebook.
She said she had been meeting with families of the Ukrainians held by Russia and the self-proclaimed Donbas republics for several days.
Gerashchenko said a few hours ago that she was going to Minsk.
