Mikheil Saakashvili, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, has already sent a letter of resignation to the presidential administration and is waiting when Head of state Petro Poroshenko accepts it, Saakashvili’s press secretary Daryna Chyzh told Interfax-Ukraine.
She also noted that, until the Ukrainian president accepts Saakashvili’s resignation, he will stay in Odesa on his post.
As reported, on Monday, November 7, Saakashvili said that he was leaving his post because he was tired of constant deception and corruption, including from authorities in Kyiv.
