Hungary's Foreign Minister Hungary slams delay in granting EU visa-free travel for Ukraine
Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto says it is inadmissible that Ukraine has not yet been granted visa-free travel to the European Union.
"We consider it inadmissible that the European Union has not provided a visa-free regime for Ukraine yet," he said at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin in Kyiv on Friday.
Ukraine has fulfilled all conditions necessary for the visa waiver, and such a position taken by the European Union is "unsportsmanlike and non-European," he said.
He pledged Hungary would continue supporting Ukraine in European integration.
Klimkin in turn thanked his counterpart for this consistent support of Ukraine.
