Ukrainian children suffer diseases long-forgotten in civilized world – Suprun
Acting Health Minister Uliana Suprun said that children in Ukraine suffer from those diseases, which have long been forgotten in civilized countries.
"The right of Ukrainian children to a healthy life is rigidly broken in Ukraine now, because our children are not vaccinated, and our children suffer from diseases that have long been forgotten in the civilized countries of the world," she said during the "round table" talk on immunization in Ukraine on Monday.
Acting minister said that 15 cases of tetanus were recorded in Ukraine from 2011 to 2015. Another four cases were recorded in 2016, which is unacceptable.
