There are no secret agreements with the foreign partners regarding Donbas, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"The first myth is that some covert agreements unknown to the broad public or our partners allegedly exist over 'Minsk.' I want to categorically dismiss this. This is an atypical style for European politics. This is in Moscow where it is possible to hold talks, sign secret agreements and then not to publish them for years," the president said in an interview with the Ukrainian television channels aired on Sunday evening.
He assured that the Minsk agreements have been accurately published and there have been no secret agreements.
Besides, Poroshenko reiterated that there has been no alternative to the Minsk agreements and 'Minsk' is the only path to peace.
"If Ukraine withdraws from the Minsk agreements itself, then forget about the sanctions. If Ukraine itself assumes the status of violator of the Minsk agreements, forget about the coalition. If someone suggests repealing 'Minsk, this means that he should offer an alternative," the president said.
