Crimea wants to sell offices of Ukrainian PrivatBank
Crimea seeks to sell offices of Ukrainian PrivatBank (Dnipro) that have been idle since the annexation of the peninsula by Russia, the press center of the Crimean parliament reported on Monday.
"Most of offices located in Simferopol, Saky, Armiansk, Feodosia and Kirovsky district are vacant. Their sale would allow paying compensation to depositors of Ukrainian banks [in Crimea]," the press center said.
The cost of property is not disclosed.
Three tourist facilities in Koktebel will be put up for sale at an open auction. The total cost is estimated at 68 million Russian rubles.
The press center said that some funds received from the sale of property will be sent to pay compensations to depositors of Ukrainian banks.
